    Abstract
A dynamic method based on hot-wire technique for determining thermal conductivity of different insulating materials in block-form bas been developed. The circuit is designed and fabricated to suit the purpose. A number of samples having known bulk density and thermal conductivity values are collected to assess the merit of the set-up by comparing the known values of the bricks with those measured by this set-up. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
