Abstract

The formation of different in situ formed composite SiAlON phases along the concentration plane Si3N4-Al2O3. AlN-Y2O3. 9AlN in the system YSi-Al-O-N has been studied. The appearances of other phases are also described. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
