Abstract
Development and stability of the colour due to the orthophenanthroline complex of iron were studied and the effects of sulphate, platinum and zinc on the optical absorption due to the complex were critically examined. Based on the findings of these investigations, a procedure has been developed for estimation of trace amounts of iron in glass and glass sand. © 1965, Taylor and Francis Group, LLC
