Abstract
Differential Thermal Analysis method has been used to indicate and estimate the amount of free quartz present in a few Indian clays, chromites, bauxites, kyanite, sillimanite and magnesite. The method suitable for this purpose has been described and the advantages and disadvantages have leen discussed. © 1955 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
