Abstract
The thermal conductivity of Indian micas in thin film was determined on an apparatus, specially designed and fabricated for the purpose. The apparatus was standardized by measuring the thermal conductivity of a few standard samples of soda-lime glass, electrical porcelain and kraft paper. The results on mica samples agreed well with the results from ERA report, measured at NPL (England) on a very elaborate divided-bar method. © 1979 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
