Abstract
A type of moisture tester, depending upon the principle of dielectric absorption at radio-frequency, has been designed on solid-state circuit for scanning surface dryness of huge refractory bodies, whitewares and moulds. It has got the advantage of testing the articles, in situ, prior to firing and thus to avoid fire-cracks and chipping during the process. © 1980 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
