Abstract
In the changing global scenario, recent trends in technology for production of traditional ceramics in terms of raw materials, processing and equipment; forming processes, frits, glazes and colours; firing etc are discussed. In this context, CGCRI's overall intervention in technology upgradation in traditional ceramics along with special emphasis on innovative approach on cluster development programme in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Sector has also been mentioned.
